This was my contest submission to my school's 3D Design Challenge, where I won "Most Innovative". I have been creating and 3D Printing various prosthetic designs that focus on utility as well as style. My main goal was to make those who may be missing parts, feel as if they didn't lose anything, but perhaps may have gained something instead.

The first few images show a leg that has a see through glass component in the center. I created this prosthetic for those who would want to show off a personal style. This portion is hollowed out and I put LED's inside to light it up. The LED's are attached to a small battery which is connected to the top of clear section of the prosthetic. I have used both blue and white LED's.

The next few images show a leg that has a compartment on the outer portion of the leg. This acts as a pocket to store small items such as a phone or keys. The compartment is sealed with a latch at the top of the pocket.

Here are some of the renders that I made in 3DS Max.
